First Get Together Show – Effects Seem Like Eternity
“Every first event is like first impression: that is good or bad, really does count. But what you guys have done today is really a miracle. I think you have done it well. Congratulations”.
Phan Vu Ha My – Former President of English Club
On Friday Oct 23rd , at Avenue A101, EC’s first Get Together show took place, promising a year full of brilliant and miraculous events. Tens of student, not only Batch 47, who have been quite familiar with EC’s semi-monthly events, but also Batch 48, who brought along their amazing enthusiasm and diverse ideas.
The show was organized as a debate, the theme of which is “Brandaholic” , and as many other debates, our topic question “ Should we buy famous fashion branded products?” created a lot of consents as well as dissents from two joining teams. They made their presentations in creative ways and raised ideas that were viewed from different angles.
The coordination of members in one team and interaction between two teams were also emphasized and developed to the fullest extent. One by one, each team showed their wide range of branding knowledge, along with the astoundingly persuasive arguments. The willing helps from Advisor Board gave an incentive for a hotter debate. In such occasions, we have no losers, because all of us are winner of getting knowledge, improving English skills and showing of our opinions.
Get Together show not only aims at giving audience knowledge and debating skills but also offers audience relaxing time through many interesting games. At the beginning, audiences had a warm – up time by joining the game of naming and pronouncing logos of branded products like Gucci, Converse, D&G, Tommy and so on… Then they submerged to relax in another game that required them to recall all brand names after seeing them on the slide. It cann’ be denied that our guests this day was brilliant at this Get Together.
“Some logos are easy but some are really challenging. Their names are on the tip of my tongue but I can’t recall them”.
One audience shared, smiling and feeling excited.
At the end of the show, audiences were also stirred up by our introduction of the upcoming event “Halloween party”, another chance to…
“Come as guests, Stay as family”.
Don’t hesitate to come over with us!
