Orange is EC’s color. Orange also stands for youth, energy and creativity in every EC member. Especially, it is the color of our DARE to DREAM BIG philosophy. EC is an incubator for our members to improve our selves, and prepare us with knowledge and skills that opens our minds to new opportunities. We are proud of EC’s achievements but we always seek for the next big thing.
Founded in 2005, EC is amongst youngest clubs in FTU’s student organizations. In spite of that fact, we have built up our brand as a young, creative, dynamic and professional organization.

Meet Foreigners
Topics and themes of these events include issues that related to students life and also useful information about business cultures in other countries. In a cozy and friendly atmosphere, participants can join in various interacting activities: debate, presentation, and discussions.

2. ‘TOP NOTCH MARKETING GURUS’ - the first English speaking contest.
3. Conference on presentation skill:‘NAIL YOUR SKILLS’ with professionals from UNILEVER Vietnam. VJCC hall was crowded with more than 300 students.
4. ‘FRONT THE MOST’ was a brand new opportunity for FTU students to challenge themselves on stage as MCs. They were also trained during the contest to nail their public speaking skills. And guess what? This event was initiated by one of our EC members, Ms Phượng (Ms Orange).
She came up with this idea as a way to discover and encourage the MC talent and passion among Ecers. At first, the contest’s targets were only Ecers and the format was very simple: presenting in the first round and hosting in the second round. However, the quality of the contestants as well as the contest itself attracted a large number of students to FTM that we decided to open it for students outside the club as well from the third FTM (FTM ’09). This is when the Trouble Makers were introduced – they bring drama to the stage to test how skillfully the contestants can deal with the troubles to be a professional MC. You can expect to find good laugh from these trouble makers.
So why is it called “Front The Most”? There is a very interesting explanation for its name. “Front” is taken from “stand in front of the class and make a presentation” which indicates the challenge of the MC job, that is to stand in front of a huge audience to host the show in the smoothest way. “Front” also indicates the place of a leader, a winner which all the contestants compete for.
5. ‘SPELLING BEE’ is the new English speaking contest inspired by the famous spelling bee contest which is originated in America. Linku-one of our ECers had incubated the ideas about this contest for nearly 2 years, rewrite the contest format again and again to best fit Vietnamese students before it finally took place in 2007.
6. ‘BEE PRO 2008′ new version of 2007 big event “Spelling Bee” contest, ‘BEE PRO 2008′ had much more fun, surprises in contest formats.
