Q: How can I participate in EC’s events?

A: Check out our Event Calendar, choose an event you like, then simply come and enjoy!

Q: Who can apply to EC?

A: All students of FTU, especially the freshman are welcomed to apply to EC.

Q: What is the difference between EC’s formal members and collaborators?

A: In fact, EC’s formal members are in charge of all EC’s programs and related work during the school year while collaborators usually work for a certain program of the Club during a certain period. Collaborators’ recruitments often take place before every big event.

Q: Do I have to pay any membership?

A: EC-FTU is a non-profit organization, which belongs to the FTU Youth Union. So you can join EC free without having to pay any membership.

Q: Can I remain my EC member status after I have graduate? How can I contribute then?

A: When you successfully join EC, you are entitled “ECer” and this status will remain until you withdraw from EC. In the case you graduate and do not intend to withdraw, you are still able to give advice or show new ideas to the Club. All of them are highly appreciated by the Club.

Q: What are the advantages of EC-FTU over other EC in Hanoi?

A: Becoming an EC member, you will have a lot of chance to not only practice English but also learn many skills like teamwork, presentation, time-management, leadership and so on. This is what makes EC-FTU special and unique.

Q: Do I get paid if I join EC and work for EC’s events?

A: When working for EC, you will not get paid since EC is actually a club of volunteers who share the same interest in English.

Q: Can EC members take part in EC’s competition like Front The Most or Bee Pro?

A: In fact, every EC member has the right to take part in English events of EC-FTU, except for those who are concerned with the content of those events.
