Saturday Dec 26 forever goes into history as a momentous day, on the occasion of post- Christmas. All ECers flock together at the familiar room A101 as a big family to enjoy a self-made Christmas celebration.
Pretty and enthusiastic EC’s kiddies and babies jubilantly welcomed dear YAMAHAs (EC’s former members) as they ushered into the cosy room full of glamorous Christmas ornaments and exciting music. All of us were so touched on seeing long-lost seniors who have been extremely preoccupied but take time to join us. Everyone brought a gift of various sizes and colors, putting them under the well-decorated Christmas tree, as a symbol of hope and belief Santa Claus would definitely come!
The songs “Silent night” and “We wish you a Merry Christmas” opened a night full of hearty cheers. The room was then filled with laughter and anticipation for the next attractive performance: a play acted by EC’s babies and kiddies to remind everybody of YAMAHAs’ typical images: what they have done, what they have achieved, and how they have contributed to our beloved home of EC. Throughout the play, EC’s successive generations came to know each other, tightening the preciously warm and close relationship among us.
The following up activities were games to bond everyone together, and the most memorable one was our gift exchange, wish exchange and love exchange. We truly believe there is no place in this world where people from all walks of life can merge as one and share our hearts.
May our hearts be born with joy and love every day. May happy moments last for eternity. May EC be a piece of our hearts forever. May wherever we go, whatever journey we take, there is always a place we can come and stay whole-heartedly: EC.
May every X-mas be jolly, warm-hearted and everlasting with love.
